Good Beer Week's Malt 'N Meat event is a celebration of the pairing of craft malt beers and meat staged on the lawn at Southbank's The Common Man on Saturday 19th May from 1.30 PM until late.

Malt 'N Meat is all about matching 5 delicious cuts of meat ........

..... with 5 fantastic craft beers.
The Common Man's smoker, BBQ and rotisserie will be working overtime to prepare a mouth-watering taste sensation as Executive Chef Malcolm Williams joins with Dennis Stewart from Little Creatures Fremantle brewery to deliver 5 crafted malt beers and 5 superb and locally sourced meat dishes.

The coals will be red-hot and working overtime to cook meats matched to some truly great beers.
Guests will enjoy a menu comprised of smoked chicken tacos with a spicy tomato and habanero salsa matched to the Pan Head XPA, malt rubbed beef brisket with White Rabbit limited release Chocolate Stout, Flinders Island flank steak with Little Creatures Elsie WA ale, Asian Pork Belly with Byron Bay Brewery The Hazy One Cloudy Pale Lager and Lamb on the spit with the only Eumundi Lager south of the Queensland border.

Malt 'N Meat features beers from Byron Bay Brewery, Eumundi Brewery, Panhead Custom Ales, Little Creatures Brewery and White Rabbit Brewery.
