Three pre-Christmas market days to look forward to in the hinterland

Located high on the Blackall Range, about thirty kilometres southwest of Caloundra, visitors to the Sunshine Coast hinterland will discover the unique picture-postcard community of Maleny. Locals say that the rolling green hills, the deep rainforest pockets and the lush green panoramic views cast a magical spell over all who visit this picturesque little town.

All around Maleny, arts and craft galleries are plentiful. There are a multitude of sightseeing opportunities in the area, including panoramic views of the Glass House Mountains. Escape the big smoke and head to Maleny to discover this local treasure for yourself and also to visit the fabulous pre-Christmas Maleny Handmade & Artisan Christmas Markets , offering everything local, unique, quirky and Christmassy.

With more than seventy sellers, undercover and indoors, spread over three areas at Maleny Community Centre, early (or should I say ‘organised’) Christmas shoppers have not one, but three, pre-Christmas market days to look forward to, at the Maleny Handmade & Artisan Christmas Markets. These must-do markets give Maleny locals a place to showcase their handmade creations, and their creative hobbies and to share their talents. Selective shoppers are assured of finding something totally different, totally unique and always made with love.
