The annual Maleny Arts and Crafts Christmas Fair is on from Friday November 23rd- Sunday 25th at the Maleny Community Centre in the centre of Maleny.

This is your opportunity to relish in a hand-made Christmas and a more sustainable, thoughtful and creative approach to gift giving.



The Maleny Arts and Crafts Fair provides an alternative to the mass-produced, commercialism the season can bring. Choose from a range of locally handcrafted items, from wheel thrown and hand built pottery, quilts, porcelain, fine art, embroidery and wood crafting.

Items are produced by members of the Maleny Arts and Crafts Group, an incorporated organisation established in 1977 to encourage and promote arts and crafts within the Maleny and surrounding districts and to provide facilities and tuition for members to practice and market their various crafts.
In choosing to buy from the fair, you are supporting unique community artisans.

They will be decking the halls, so to speak, festooning the community centre with Christmas decorations because it is a festive affair!

Jams and relishes and other homemade treats will be on sale and as yearly tradition goes, there will be a hand-made raffle prize up for grabs. Raffle tickets will be on sale at the fair and the winner's ticket will be drawn on Sunday 25th November.

There are a number of art galleries in Maleny reflecting the number of nationally acclaimed artists who reside in the region, and a long established, thriving artisan community. The MACG also has a gallery space you can visit at 38 Maple St, Maleny, if you cannot make it to their Christmas fair.
