A new monthly grower's and maker's market will take place from November in the historical town of Maldon.
The market will feature something for everyone, the focus is to showcase products and produce that will be ecological or have been hand-made or hand grown by the person selling them. It will feature selected stall holders from the heart of Victoria and emerging talent from Melbourne.

It will be located next to the Maldon Shire gardens so visitors will be able to enjoy live music while perusing what the market has to offer including gourmet food and great coffee.
Jenny Merkus; President of the Maldon Neighbourhood Centre, said "Maldon is already a popular tourist town with a vibrant weekend atmosphere; however, there is great potential for an increase in tourism and spending."
