Craving Roti Canai, satay skewers, or a hot cup of Tek Tarik? You will be able to get your fix this Sunday at Queen Victoria Market as it celebrates another multicultural day of food and entertainment, at the Malaysia Day Festival.
Choose to eat one or more of over 30 hawker style dishes served up by 18 street stall restaurants featuring authentic Malaysian, Nyonyan, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian and Singaporean cuisine.
While you devour down on great quality street food, browse and buy at specialist stalls selling handicraft, indulge in a Thai massage, or treat yourself to a hair and makeup do-over. Leave the kids to join in in interactive activities such as balloon making or set them down to watch ten cultural performances on the main stage.
Queen Victoria market knows how to run a fun and energetic festival, and has a great outdoor location for it, so head there this Sunday October 9th, from 9am-4pm. Pick up kaya toast for breakfast, do your shopping, then continue to enjoy the free entertainment and festivities, and more food, throughout the day.
See you there!
