Discover the best quality, locally made Christmas gifts

Australia's premier mid-sized makers market returns to Adelaide for a one-day-only, bumper Christmas market!

The Makers & Shakers Market is set to take over Woodville Town Hall on Saturday 14 December 2019 with a family-friendly, festive-inspired boutique shopping experience and gourmet food extravaganza!

Kicking off at 10am, market-lovers can look forward to 50 of the finest established and emerging Adelaide makers, creators and designers under one roof. Expect to see a spectacular hand-picked selection of beautiful homewares, stunning lifestyle products and delicious gourmet foods for your Christmas celebrations.

No two stallholders are the same and organisers are passionate about supporting local talent and aim to give local makers an affordable and fun place to show and sell their wares and for shoppers to have an awesome day out, as well as pick up some wonderful new treasures along the way.

During the morning and afternoon, you'll get to meet the friendly stallholders and learn more about what inspires them, upcoming Summer trends and how the various wares were made.

It's a great opportunity to pick up locally made Christmas gifts for friends and family members and best of all, many of the stallholders are exclusive to Makers & Shakers. Highlights include Dana Kinter, Eliza Piro, Kate Mason, Kitty Came Home, Ettie Ink, Shannon O'Neil, The Woollen Earth and many more! Check out the participating stallholders here.

Adding to the vibrant community atmosphere is a selection of baked goods, cakes, pastries, gourmet chocolate, slices and cookies. And many more tasty things. There will also be gf, vegan and vegetarian food options. All this can be enjoyed inside the Hall's dedicated indoor seating area.

Other highlights include FREE kids Christmas craft activities (all ages).

Don't miss the always inspiring Makers & Shakers Market this December! It's set to be their strongest line-up yet, so skip the crowded shopping centres and come and get those last minute Christmas gifts and support SA handmade businesses at Makers & Shakers!

Entry is $2 (cash only) and kids under 12 are FREE.

Woodville Town Hall is located at 74 Woodville Rd, Woodville SA 5011. There is plenty of free parking behind and around the town hall and it is opposite Woodville Station.

Many of the stallholders will accept cards (and cash) but it is recommend that shoppers bring some cash. There is an ATM in the venue foyer.

For more information on the participating stallholders and venue, check out the official website and join the Facebook event page.

The Makers and Shakers Market is run by the same team behind the super-popular fashion market, Round She Goes.
