The event that is all about quality - Makers & Shakers Market - takes over an all-new and extra large location on Saturday 2 November 2019!
Kicking off at 10am at the Former Transport Depot/Old Bus Depot in Kingston, Makers and Shakers Market is a family-friendly boutique shopping and gourmet food extravaganza, showcasing over 60 of the finest local and interstate makers, creators and designers. Marketgoers can expect to see a hand-picked selection of beautiful homewares, delicious gourmet foods and stunning lifestyle products.
The exciting stallholder line-up includes amazing interstate creatives including Nutie Donuts, Trade The Mark and Andrea Smith as well as local favs Cannoli Brothers, Enigma Fine Chocolate and many more.During the morning and afternoon, you'll get to meet the friendly stallholders and learn more about what inspires them, upcoming Spring/Summer trends and how the various wares were made.
Come along and pick up locally made gifts for friends and family members and best of all, many of the stallholders are exclusive to Makers & Shakers . Check out the participating stallholders here .
Adding to the vibrant community atmosphere is specialty coffee and a selection of delicious homemade baked goods, including vegan cakes, pastries, gourmet chocolate, slices and cookies which can be enjoyed in the dedicated indoor seating area.

No two stallholders are the same and organisers are passionate about supporting emerging new talent and aim to give local makers an affordable and fun place to show and sell their wares and for shoppers to have an awesome day out, as well as pick up some wonderful new treasures along the way. It's an excellent opportunity to support small and micro businesses.
Entry is $2 (cash only) and kids under 12 are FREE.Former Transport Depot / Old Bus Depot Building, 21 Wentworth Ave, Kingston ACT 2604. There is plenty of free parking behind and around the transport depot/Kingston area. For the most current bus timetable information, please visit Transport Canberra .Many of the stallholders will accept cards (and cash) but it is recommended that shoppers bring some cash. There is an ATM in the venue foyer.
