The Make Your Own Gift workshops are part of the Craft@Cathedral Square series, and take place on Saturday, 12th of May 2018 between 12 noon and 5.00 pm at various times through this period. Children's workshops are one hour duration and the adult classes run for two hours. There are limited numbers especially in the children's classes.
The workshop for children involves decorating a wind chime. Bookings are filling up for this one with only two spaces left. This event is free but bookings are essential. Enrolment in the workshop is online here. Starting at noon each workshop is one hour duration. This workshop has only a couple of places left at time of writing.
There are two workshops for adults, one creating floral table arrangements Fox and Rabbit and the other chocolate decorating with chocolatier Sue Lewis. Both of these workshops involve a fee. Details are online. To enrol book online here. The chocolate workshop goes for 2 hours from noon to 3.00 pm and the floral table arrangement workshop goes from 3.00 pm until 5.00 pm. There are almost 20 places available for the adult workshops at the time of writing but be quick.
If you would like to make your own card to go with your Mother's Day gift of the floral arrangement, the chocolate present or the wind chime, you are able to do so in the workshop. If you are not the crafty type you can bring along your own store purchased gift and have it gift-wrapped.
Unlike the workshops for wind chimes, floral table arrangements and chocolate workshops, there is no need to register for card making and gift wrapping of store purchased gifts.
Heading to Cathedral Square to check out the scene and make a homemade gift of love sounds like a great plan for mum this Mother's Day.
