On the Easter weekend of 15th - 16th of April, Canberra Glassworks will be holding workshops for people to make their own glass Easter Egg or Paperweight. These 20 minute workshops are "one on one" with a resident artist, who will show you how to shape molten glass, add colour and use different tools to create your own unique glass design. The glass egg or paperweight won't be available to take home with you on the day, as it needs to be annealed for 48 hours, however you can come back and pick it up after two days or postage will be $10.
