New to Canberra, I love exploring this city and the secrets that it holds with my family.
Event: -
A school holiday activity for 8-16 year olds
The Autumn school holidays is an ideal time to visit the National Arboretum - when the leaves turn orange and the views are even more spectacular. As well as the forest walks, Pod Playground and fun things to do, the Arboretum will also be holding Bonsai Making workshops for kids aged between 8 - 16. Participants learn some of the basic techniques for potting, styling and caring for a bonsai and get to take their creations home with them on the day. Be inspired by the National Bonsai and Penjing Collection, located next to the Visitors Centre.

Dates: 10th - 13th April
Time: 10:30am - 12:00pm
Cost: $33.50 per participant.
