Cavatelli is one of Italy's most classic and oldest pasta types that originated from the regions of Molise and Puglia. Cavatelli is known for its elongated shape, made by hand using simple ingredients – durum wheat semolina flour, lukewarm water and salt. James will show you how to make this classic pasta, in its vegan form, as well as instructing you how to cook the pasta alongside a delectable and easy pumpkin and walnut sauce. James will also teach you how to source the best local ingredients for making this special dish.

Originally born in Naples in Italy, James has pursued his passion for good Italian food here in Australia and has worked with companies including David Jones Food Hall and Dan Murphy's. He has also created the platform Italians Down Under to further share his passion for seriously good Italian food that uses the best ingredients found in Melbourne.

For this event, you will need access to Zoom on your device of choice. Once you book your ticket, you'll be emailed the ingredients list and instructions in advance. Then, you can either cook along with James or watch as he takes you through each step of the way while he shares his secrets and Italian food background.
