Just a girl spreading the word about all the fun (and probably nerdy) things to do!

Getting your kids to eat what they're supposed to can be hard, but a few simple things can make pasta time a whole lot more fun.
Firstly, I think one of the best ways to get kids to eat their pasta is to forget the traditional pasta shapes and go straight for the fun stuff. Did you know at Coles you can get dinosaur pasta? Yep, your kids could be gobbling up T-Rex's for dinner and not have a second thought about it.
Eat them before they eat you!
Another fun thing to do is to turn the duck and weave game of getting food into your kids mouths into some sing-a-long fun.
Singing songs can encourage the kids to enjoy mealtime and get into the spirit of eating their food. A classic to sing is On Top of Spaghetti - you can find the lyrics here.
Now although it can get messy, having kids help make the food also makes them enjoy eating it a hell of a lot more. Be careful when you do, but try getting your little one interested in making the food then watch them gobble it up from all the excitement and effort of making it.
Last but certainly not least try and make your food look funny by making it into silly shapes.

So try it out sometime and I'll bet your kids will be gobbling down that food as soon as you put it out!
