When we have kids, the amount of stuff that they accumulate as they grow up is astronomical, books, clothes, old toys, puzzles, bed sheets just everything really.

Some people palm their preloved stuff to friends or charities, but instead why not make some money out of it?

1. Have a garage sale dedicated to just children stuff. Advertise it so everyone knows you've got tonnes of kids stuff to sell. Allocate different areas of your garage to children's stuff such as toys, clothes and books.

2. If you have any designer clothes that your kids have grown out of, sell it on EBAY. People are always looking for cheaper designer clothes such as Pumpkin Patch, Ralph Lauren, Run Scotty Run and more.

3. If you have a Facebook account, search up on selling groups. There should be a group dedicated to your suburb or surroundings. Sell stuff on there, and it won't cost to advertise.

4. Look up organisations and shops that pay for people's old stuff to sell in their shop. There's heaps around Melbourne, you might make about half of the money that they sell it for.

Some children's stuff to consider selling:
Good condition clothes ( season appropriate)
Character books
Shoes
Blankets and doona covers
Plush toys
Big toys (like walkers, activity mats, playpens)
Bath toys
