Do you need some inspiration in your life?
Make it Happen
Make it Happen

Michelle Bridges is a leading figure in the Australian health and fitness world and a prolific author on the subject. I've never seen an episode of 'The Biggest Loser' but I enjoyed reading Michelle's latest book called 'Make it Happen'.

The book chronicles Michelle's journey from high school, through the ups and downs of her career as a fitness instructor, bodybuilder and later on as a trainer on television. She honestly talks about her life, rise to fame and successful businesses which were backed by lots of hard work and determination.

This book is less about fitness and losing weight and more about motivation and attitude. Each chapter is interspersed with brainstorming exercises, guidelines, toolkits and positive psychology. There are colour photographs of Michelle with her friends, family and colleagues through the ages.

'When you know what it is that you are destined to do and you start planning for it, acting on it, believing in it, living it, pursuing it with gritted-teeth, clenched-butt determination, making sacrifices for it and backing yourself all the way, your future changes. Nothing is ever the same again.' says Michelle.

Make it Happen is my favourite Michelle Bridges' book and I recommend reading her autobiographical story (so far) for anyone who wants to start a business or needs some positive inspiration in their life.
