I'm sure as a family you all have goals that you would like to achieve, and new experiences you would like to do. So why don't we do them together as a family?
I don't mean making a weekly chore chart that you can put on the wall to make sure everyone has done their jobs for the week (even though this could be incorporated into it if you like.) No. I mean having fun and making sure everyone looks out for one another in your family, whilst motivating, learning a new skills or just enjoying yourself.
Why not have a weekly cooking session where you could develop everyone's skills in the kitchen and help your children (and yourself) to become better cooks and learn how to have fun with food and eat healthily?
If cooking isn't for you, don't worry. Why don't you join a club together like karate or crafting? Make sure it is something that everyone enjoys. This will help people to learn how to compromise and also understand how you could enjoy a skill you have never tried before.
The things on your bucket list do not have to be anything expensive. They could be things like going to the beach, watching the stars, or playing board games. Anything new and exciting that will bring the family together.
You could also make a photo wall of all the stuff you have done together. After achieving many of the things on the bucket list, you will be able to see a lovely collage on your wall that will fill you with fond memories and enhance the fun times.
So this year why don't you and your family trying building yourself and family bucket list and see what fun you could have?
