Bouddi National Park might be less known among tourists however it should be on a list of every keen bush walker for it offers excellent opportunities for bush walking and camping.

It is located on the Central Coast and offers walks to secluded beaches, tracks in the rainforest and excellent views from several lookouts (keep it in mind if you like photography).

One of the easier walks that lead to a beautiful bay is Maitland Bay walk that starts at the Maitland Bay Centre that can be found at the intersection of Maitland Bay Drive and The Scenic Rd. For an average person, it will take approximately 15 minutes to get down to the beach. However, it might take you much longer on the way back bearing in mind you'll have to climb all the way up back to a car park.

You might spend a couple of hours just relaxing with the view or prepare your camera for sunset photography. There are a few other walks around in case you'd like to explore the area further.
