The historical Richard Randall Art Studio in Mount Coot-Tha is playing host to an exciting free watercolour exhibition this spring.
This group exhibition will be held from Wednesday 5th October to Sunday 9th October 2022 and showcases the artistic talents of husband and wife, Nev and Barbara Logan of Pinjarra Hills, and two friends, Ferie Sadeghi of St Lucia and Samaneh Mohtadi from Bridgeman Downs.
Watercolourist Nev is well known in the Western Suburbs having lived at Pinjarra Hills for 52 years and has exhibited his paintings widely in the area and throughout Australia.
His wife, Barbara, returned to Australia in 2000 to marry Nev after spending 30 years in Boston, the latter part of which was as an English Professor at a Community College in Boston.
Ferie is Persian-born and came to Australia in 1994 after spending some time in New Zealand. Samaneh is a relatively new arrival from Iran with her husband and they intend to make Australia their home.
The diverse collection of displayed work will include stunning watercolour paintings by Nev and Samaneh, acrylics & watercolours by Ferie and colourful abstract paintings in alcohol ink by Barbara.
The Mainly Watercolours Art Exhibition is FREE to attend and affords locals the unique opportunity to support local artists, as well as enjoy the Brisbane Botanic Gardens this bright spring colours.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 9 am to 4 pm on all days except Wednesday 5 October, when it will be open from 12 pm.
Because of their age and the difficulty of booking Richard Randall, this will be Nev and Barbara's last exhibition at Richard Randall.
