The historical Richard Randall Art Studio in Mount Coot-Tha is playing host to an exciting free watercolour exhibition this Spring.
This group exhibition will be held from the 21st to 24th November 2019 and showcase the artistic talents of Pinjarra Hills Watercolorist Nev Logan and his artist wife Barbara, together with four Iranian friends, Ferie Sadeghi, Samaneh Mohtadi, Bahar Shahrestanaki and Parvaneh Shayegh, who all paint in watercolours.
Nev is well known in the Western Suburbs having lived in Pinjarra Hills for over 40 years and has exhibited his paintings widely in the area and throughout Australia.
His wife Barbara returned to Australia in 2000 to marry Nev after spending 30 years in Boston, the latter part of which was as an English Professor at a Community College in Boston.
The diverse collection of displayed work will include stunning watercolour paintings by Nev, Ferie, Samaneh, Bahar and Parvaneh, many of which will portray overseas as well as local subjects, complemented by colourful and quirky acrylic fabric collages by Barbara.
This exhibition is free to attend and affords locals the unique opportunity to support local artists, as well as enjoy the Brisbane Botanic Gardens this Spring.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 12 Noon to 4 PM on Thursday and from 9 AM to 4 PM on Friday to Sunday. We hope to see you there!
