An Indian Restaurant to die for.

Looking for a curry to die for? Are you craving a good and creamy Butter Chicken Curry? Ladies and gentlemen look no further because by the end of reading this review your tastebuds will be thankful.

Located in the backstreets of Cleveland, Maharaja Indian Restaurant is a paradise, unfortunately hardly anyone knows about it except via word of mouth or in this case

As someone with an Indian background, I am very picky about my Indian cuisines. In my opinion there is nothing better than eating a home cooked curry, and the majority of mainstream chefs do not know the secrets to making a good authentic tasting curry.

Sadly, I cannot cook such dishes to save my life. I am not gifted like my other relatives and I am related to many chefs. One is my grandmother, a homemaker, but chef in her own right because of her skill. Unfortunately I cannot enjoy her cooking as much as I like because she lives two hours away.

This is why I am always on the lookout for a good Indian Restaurant along with my cousin, who made the original discovery in our suburb. Compared to other restaurants, the flavours are richer, the spices fresher and the Naan Bread though small shaped, is thick in density. You can also get Biryani dishes and servings of Vegetable and Meat Samosa. They also cater to suit vegetarian and glucose free diets.

My cousin and I have been back there two weekends in a row - the food is addictive. Not to mention the presentation is very old school. The curry is served in its own pot over a fire to keep it warm. The serve is top notch as well, so what are you waiting for?
Head down there for dinner!
