As we walked down the stairs it was like stepping into another world. The lights were warm and dim. It felt like we were in an ambient cave in the Middle East. We were greeted by a friendly face who directed us to our chairs. I was lucky enough to get the comfortable booth seat.

It was an easy choice after that. We had the two course meal and I opted for the wine matching. The Sommelier was exceptional. The wine was well-matched and light and tasty.

It is with good reason that Maha's reputation proceeds itself. I've eaten at St Katherine's a few years ago (that is no longer), and that was fantastic.

You will need to book in advance, and do remember to take at least one friend and a very healthy appetite. The food was fantastic.
