I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.
Sail around Sydney Harbour in air-conditioned comfort on the luxury catamaran Magistic Two to soak up some Sydney sights. The two hour cruise leaves from King Street Wharf travelling past Barangaroo Headland under the Harbour Bridge to Circular Quay and beyond.
Whilst cruising past the Opera House, Fort Denison and passing boats you are free to dine on a delicious buffet selection. Apart from the seafood, there are some vegetarian options as well as meat and chicken dishes. The bain maries are refreshed regularly and there was more than enough food for our touring group. The cruise is fully licensed with beer, wine, spirits and cocktails available from the bar. A beverage package can be purchased for an additional $35 per person.
Large windows provide a view to the passing sights but nothing beats the experience of standing on one of the spacious decks and being part of the view. Feel the warmth on your face and the breeze through your hair whilst you breathe in the fresh air of blue sky Sydney.
The lunch cruise is a good activity for a family or workplace party and is a lovely way for visitors to see the harbour. The only problem is that two hours flies by and you will not want to disembark. There is the option to extend the cruise for an extra $17.50 for two hours more sightseeing (no food service).
