Magical Christmas Lights in Mosman and Cremorne

'Twas the week before Christmas and all through the night,The streets were pure magic, the lights twinkling bright.The children, excited, dance down the street,In awe of the lights and the neighbours they greet.

Christmas Day may have come and gone but some of the magic remains!

If you didn't have time before Christmas to enjoy some of the spectacular street light displays, don't despair as some are continuing after Christmas and into January.

If you're in the North Shore or happy to take a drive from further afield, there are two street light displays that shouldn't be missed.

First is a cracker in Cremorne - Santa's House of Illumination and Christmas Nativity at 51 Rangers Road (cnr Spofforth Street). This home has become a favourite for locals and non-locals alike with it's stunning array of Christmas lights, life-size nativity scene and snow machine! The festive feel goes further with the owners collecting and raising funds in support of cancer research through donations from visitors to this amazing light display.

And, this is the last time you'll get to enjoy this Christmas wonderland. The owners have confirmed that 2014 will be the last time they do the display, so make sure you get along with the kids and experience something extraordinary.

Just around the corner in Mosman on Prince Albert Avenue, the houses are alight with colourful displays - each resident seemingly trying to outdo the other!

There's plenty of parking along this residential street and it's an easy walk for the kids (it will take about 30 minutes to view all the houses with light displays). You'll be in awe of the abundant festive displays on this pretty avenue along with the stunning lights of the city in the background.

The Christmas lights are on display now and many will be illuminated until mid January.
