You'll find the Magic Wok at West Lane, tucked away behind the Hilton and a short walk from The Galleria West Lane entrance. There is parking in the West Lane Car Park and it's a short walk from the Esplanade and Mitchell Street.
Magic Wok gets booked out. It's a local haunt but little known to non-locals. It has restricted opening hours, so it's generally packed to the rafters when you go inside. I had walked past it a number of times before one of my friends said that we should go there.
The Magic Wok is famous for its stir-fries. They are pricey but it's based on you choosing what you want in your dish. The Magic Wok is on the upper end of price side for Darwin. But you can see the freshness of the ingredients, that it's well worth it.
