A buzzing wonderland in Melbourne’s CBD, featuring cocktails
Magic Mountain Saloon is becoming an icon of Melbourne food and cocktail culture. Located in a three-storey wonderland on Little Collins Street, the boutique venue combines delicious Thai-inspired food with world-class cocktails.

Sound like a tall order? Well, coming from the makers of Cookie, Toff in Town and Boney, Magic Mountain has an experienced team on board. Dedicated to creating an exceptional group of Melbourne venues, they've succeeded in adding another notch to their belt. Magic Mountain isn't just an exact replica however; it has its own unique vibe.

Warm hues envelop the winding staircase that opens up to a hub of activity. A magnificent bar dominates the main room. While some prefer to perch at the bar, others mingle in the open space or spread out along an impressive communal bench.

Above, the lights seem to shift as the night progresses, deepening to an almost sunset-like colour. It's all part of the magic. The marble-topped bar houses an array of spirits which the staff skilfully rotate in their repertoire.

Magic Mountain bartenders are experts in creating drinkable masterpieces. Classics, twists on classics and signature creations all feature in the progressive menu. Tropical spritzers are a standout, plus their brunch cocktails are famous.

Matched Thai-Australian dishes provide a full taste experience that is unlike any other. Wok fried noodles, spicy salads and sticky ribs are all favourites.

Head straight for the Orange Koi with a couple of fresh dishes on the side, then hit Lee's Artillery Punch. If you're after something a little fruitier, try the Cntl-Alt-Del Swizzle, which goes perfectly with a side of Tapioca dumplings.

Some of the best hospo staff in Melbourne work here and it shows. They know the hottest thing right now yet they take the time to perfect the classics. It's an immersive experience at Magic Mountain and people are a major part of this.

Magic Mountain is an outstanding Melbourne venue and will be for years to come.
