Horse racing plus thoroughbred sales on the Gold Coast equals the Magic Millions .

The Gold Coast is the venue for the Magic Millions yearling sales , which go hand in hand with ten days of events surrounding the Magic Millions raceday.

At least one yearling from a Magic Millions catalogue each year is guaranteed to win a $2 million race - the richest run in Queensland and one of the richest in Australia.
The 2012 BMW Magic Millions Carnival & Race day, runs from Friday 6th January to Wednesday 18th January, 2011.


Ladies Day, on Sat 7th of Jan 2012, promises to be a truly glamorous event. With racing, fashions, beauty, live entertainment and prizes & giveaways, including a trip for two to Paris - all with free entry to ladies (and children under 18), it is billed as an ultimate day out. There is also over $2000 in prize money for the best dressed female . Might be worth getting your frock out for that one girls.

The Gold Coast Turf Club is five kms from Surfers Paradise on Racecourse Drive, Bundall. There is a free courtesy bus .
