If you have ever wanted to learn how to grow your own food, the Magic Harvest program could be just what you need to get you started. From Tuesday 24 July to Tuesday 25 September 2018, the Salisbury East Neighbourhood Centre is hosting a program to help you create a 1m by 1m garden at your home.

The topics that will be covered may include gardening techniques, water-wise gardening and how to cook the fruits of your labour. You will also get to participate in the development of a community garden.

The best part of the program is that seeds and seedlings are provided for you to start your home garden. This saves you the trouble and cost of having to purchase them yourself. This program is free so it is a great opportunity to learn an important life skill.

Looks like a great program which will hopefully be offered throughout other council areas.
