Maggot kicks off 28th September 2018 at the Old 505 Theatre in Newtown.

The trio were awarded the Adelaide Tour Ready Award at the New Zealand Fringe Festival 2017 and this year won the Sydney Tour Ready Award and Outstanding Ensemble.

The subversive clowns are Elle Wootton, Angela Fouhy and Freya Finch, playing The Baby Girls. Maggot follows the surrealist world of the failed pop trio and their friends.

We meet characters such as naughty musical elves, Gorgonzola the magician, a rabbit who cannot reach his carrot, one very enthusiastic cheerleader (with an exceptional spelling ability), a clown, rat fighting cowboys and much more.

The trio was exceptionally engaging and had the audience hooked from the start.

Expect the unexpected, a random mix of song, dance, theatre and hilarity. The show is so fast-paced, it is hard to explain in words, but all I can say without giving too much away is that it was a weirdly wonderful show, and I loved it!

Support the local arts and get yourself a ticket to this award-winning show!
