Create a woolly snowflake and warm up with a yummy hot chocolate and cookie at M.A.D.E these winter school holidays.

FREE for Ballarat locals, this is a great opportunity to visit the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka (M.A.D.E). Kids will enjoy exploring the Memorial Park as well as unearthing some frosty facts on a self-guided discovery worksheet. Then take a break and learn how to weave a woolly snowflake, the winter school holiday activity at M.A.D.E.

A combination of contemporary technology and historical objects, there is plenty to see and do, especially the Flag of the Southern Cross, which is temporarily on loan from the Art Gallery of Ballarat.

Located on the historic site of the 1854 Eureka Stockade, the M.A.D.E museum is a tribute of the people who fought injustice and helped shaped Australia's democracy.

This school holiday program runs between Monday 29th June to Friday 10th July, 10am to 5pm daily.
