The place to shop for handmade holiday gifts
Europe is famous for Christmas markets but if that's a bit too far to travel, never fear. Thanks to local organisation Made on the Left (MOTL), Perth will host a Christmas Market on the weekend of 22 – 23 November, featuring some of the finest examples of West Australian creative talent.

MOTL is a not for profit organisation founded in 2008 by independent designers with the intention to support Western Australian creative talent. Providing a sales outlet is an important part of this, and the MOTL markets are a popular shopping destination for those looking for quality goods that are locally designed and produced. The November market continues this tradition as part of the Perth Festival of Christmas.
Take a look at some of the stallholders for some great gift ideas for everyone on your list (and maybe yourself as well). Here are a few to get you started:
Bron's Ceramics - handcrafted ceramic flower creations One Happy Leaf - laser cut wooden jewelry Moonlight Harvest - luxurious olive oil soaps & creatively crafted skincare Sugar Plum Tree - handmade babies and children's clothing Barking Mad Photography - photos of WA's stunning coastline, bush and fantastic city
With these plus dozens more, you're sure to find that special gift.
The Made on the Left Christmas Market will be held on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November from 10am to 4pm in Forrest Place, Perth.
