I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.
Madam Chai's is located in Regent Place Sydney and is great for tasty flavours and casual dining. The restaurant is small, nicely decorated and very clean. The constant stream of customers gives it a happy atmosphere.
The food is freshly prepared and served with a smile. The menu can be seen on Menulog as they also offer a takeaway service. The satay sticks were great value at $3.80 for two and had a generous amount of juicy flavoursome meat served with a lightly spiced peanut sauce.
The Hainan chicken was also a good lunch choice with a crispy skin on the succulent chicken and the rice was filing. There is plenty of vegetarian-friendly food available, and they are accessible for those with mobility issues but it can be quite crowded at times. Cash and cards are accepted and they are not licensed so you will have to make do with a Malaysian coffee, milo and ice, tea or a soft drink.
