The bistro offers overnight guests a continental breakfast. However in the last few months, the public now enjoys this morning delight as well. Breakfast is served 7am till 9am weekdays and till 9.30am weekends.

Dubbo's best steaks at the Macquarie Inn Bistro
Dinner is 6pm till 9pmand the Macquarie Inn offers "Dubbo's best steaks". Juicy, thick, char-grilled on a special grill providing nearly double the heat of a domestic BBQ. They are perfectly cooked to your liking.
Other menu options include their daily specials, which are huge servings, plates overflow with chicken schnitzel, nachos, open burgers, and for people like myself who love their food,

I struggled to finish my meal; lucky I had a great table of helpers.
We had breakfast and dinner at the bistro as we were out touring through the day and we definitely came back the next night for more. Lucky with trips to the zoo, I was able to walk some of this scrumptious food off.
Great choices, good size children meals and they have installed a live stream video TV, so while the adults talk and relax, the children can play in the playground area outside the bistro.
A huge menu; I just couldn't decide and optioned for what looked good on the table next to me.
Kids Meal well and truly attacked
The first night I had Thursday's special a tantalising juicy T bone and the next night nachos, which I was stumped at half way. Yet again my table had to come to my rescue!
Staff are very friendly and helpful, if you are staying as a guest in the motel you may charge your meal to your account (key must be shown and please inform before you order).

The bistro is becoming an extremely popular venue, with wait times of around 40 minutes from order placement. We had a pre dinner drink while waiting.
