Move Over Disney On Ice
Macquarie Ice Rink is located within the Macquarie Shopping Centre and is open every day, except Christmas Day.





Each skating session is 2 hours and costs $22 for adults and $20 for kids. The last hour of every general session is available at a discounted rate. Entry fee includes skate hire. Please check the Macquarie Ice Rink Website for session times but generally they are 9am 11am, 11.30am 1pm, 3pm 5pm, 8pm 10pm. See the Macquarie Ice Rink website.





For social skating, join the Coffee Club which includes 15 minute warm up class, free hour group session and coffee and sandwiches.

Kiddies Klub runs in conjunction with Coffee Club and caters for pre-schoolers (2 to 5 years old). Cost is $19 and includes admission, skate hire, hour lesson, snow play and little lunch.



Macquarie Ice Rink also offers birthday party sessions, which are held on the weekends. Each party must have a minimum of 10 and maximum of 25 children. Cost is $28 per child and includes food, lolly bags, hats & balloons, session admission, own party room, party hostess, skate hire and a 20 minute group lesson.



During school term, you can book into Aussie Skate Program which has been specifically designed to enable skaters of all ages and all ability levels to progress at their own pace and each lesson has a maximum of 12 skaters per coach. Private lessons are also available.

Getting there:
By Train: Macquarie University Station
By Bus: Macquarie Shopping Centre
By Car: Unlimited parking within the Macquarie Shopping Centre (first 3 hours are free)

After your skating session, head over to the Macquarie Shopping Centre food court for some hot chocolate or lunch. If you are not skating, you can watch your children on the side of the rink or from the food court.



Ice skating is a lot of fun, no matter how old you are. So why not give it a go this weekend?
