The annual Macedonian Cultural Festival in Williamstown is once again taking place on Sunday November 24th.The festival aims to showcase and share its unique culture through Macedonian entertainment and food – everyone is welcome to experience the day, and enjoy Australia's rich multicultural community.
There will be a feast of traditional Macedonian food, such as Sarma (pickled rice-stuffed cabbage leaves) and Burek (crispy pastries with a variety of fillings). Have some fun and join in the traditional dancing occurring in the park. For the children, there will also be carnival rides to enjoy. For those keen to learn more about the Macedonian culture, you will be able to watch a master-class in Macedonian cooking. There will be stallholders offering all the delicious delicacies that you've come to love from Macedonia.
