As you leave the town towards Strathalbyn, there is right hand turn that takes you over the Angas River to the Longview Winery.Just over the river to the left is a picnic area and a sculpture by the old swimming pool in the river. The winery is just a short distance away, with a road leading off to the right. This old converted dairy looks over vineyards on the hilly slopes and valley below, intersected by a dirt road, which you can drive along.Well worth a visit for the splendid views and of course,to sample some of their fine wines etc. After leaving the winery, you may continue on a good dirt road to either Strathalbyn or to Meadows..quite a scenic little drive away from the main roads.
