Event: -

On the last weekend of November (26th & 27th November 2016), the Lyrebird Arts Community are presenting the inaugural Lyrebird Art Trail - a special group event showcasing the talents of several North Shore artists.

Held from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on both days, this FREE family event will see talented members of the Lyrebird Arts Community open their homes and studios to the public. The Trail includes venues in Hornsby, Wahroonga and St Ives.

Across the four venues, a wide variety of original handmade artworks will be showcased including paintings, one-off and limited edition prints, photographs, sculptures, glasswork, ceramics, beaded jewellery and textile art.

There will also be opportunities to chat to the artists over a cup of tea or coffee about their practice, techniques and inspiration.

A variety of demonstrations and artist's talks are also scheduled over the weekend: click here to see the full timetable.

All the displayed original art, art cards and gifts will be available for sale at affordable prices.

These will make great Christmas gift ideas or you can purchase something special for your home or office.

Credit facilities are available at most venues.

Each venue will feature 3 or 4 artists:

Venue 1 - 32A Hall Road Hornsby

Venue 2 - 37 Woonona Ave Wahroonga

Venue 3 - 34A Carrington Road Wahroonga

Venue 4 -  23 Mudies Road St Ives

Come along with the whole family and see amazing art, meet new friends and enjoy the art and gardens. Look for the bright bunting! The
trail is on rain, hail or shine.
