Motto: Have a plan and be prepared.
Event:

The Lyrebird Community Christmas Festival & Carols are not your standard carols by candlelight. This event is much bigger and certainly more of a community fair complete with rides, food, activities and a grand firework finale.

Being held on Sunday 18th December 2016, the festivities will begin at 5pm with plenty of low cost family-friendly activities. Kids can enjoy having their faces painted before hitting the rides and carnival styled amusements. You'll also find craft activities, market stalls and plenty of live entertainment right across the evening. Please note that ticket fees will apply for rides.

Be sure to remember your chair or picnic blanket, and guests are invited to bring along their own picnic hamper full of treats to make this a proper pre-Christmas celebration. Meet with family and friends, mingle with the community and relax into an evening complete with carols, entertainment and fun. Food and drinks can also be purchased from food vendors at the venue. No doubt there will be something to suit every taste.

Live music and entertainment will be performed on the main stage from 5pm before the carols commence at 8.30pm. Sing along to all your traditional and favourite Christmas songs, bringing in the spirit of Christmas.

The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display - weather permitting - from approximately 9.30pm.

The Lyrebird Community Christmas Festival & Carols are being held on Sunday 18th December 2016 from 5pm to 9.45pm at the Belvedere Reserve, East Road, Seaford. Entry is by gold coin donation and car parking will be limited.

Please note: This is a smoke, alcohol, drug and dog free event.
