From 23 January to 2 May 2023, Feather and Lawry Design is displaying stunning artworks by artist and author Lyne Marshall. The exhibition is entitled 'A Natural Connection'. Lyne is a contemporary Australian artist and an author on 'creative processes'. She also loves the adventure of travel and this is reflected in her works depicting remote landscapes.

An online catalogue can be found on Lyne's website, plus information on upcoming projects. The average price for her art is $3000, with larger works costing $4990. 'A Matter of Time' is one of the latter works, on display at Feather and Lawry. Most of the work exhibited is acrylic on synthetic paper. There are a few for sale at lower prices. Her work pictured here is all $3000. What a great investment opportunity!

Lyne's artworks are created in a variety of colours with only a limited number of colours per work, giving them a themed feeling. They would be beautiful hanging on your wall and because they are abstract, there are always new ways of looking at them. Lyne has written four books on creative processes. Her studio and art gallery are in Ningi, Queensland, in the Bribie Pines Estate, a ten-minute drive from Bribie Island. The gallery is open by appointment, phone 0418 876 230. Her work is also on display in Western Australia's Yallungup Galleries and the Cool Art Gallery at Coolum in Queensland.

Lyne courageously changed her career path from nursing to art and describes her journey in one of her books. She finds emotional freedom and energy while she is painting in the great outdoors. Lyne's desire is for viewers of her art to 'walk with her' in the places that she has depicted and she succeeds in that aim.

Also at Feather and Lawry Design currently are works by Kendall ($2900 'A Splash of Pink'), Michelle Kennedy ($400 floral depictions) and Vanessa Frommold (resin 'Palm Beach' for $1885), plus other works. It's a small gallery but quite absorbing to view. Feather and Lawry Design are located at 4 Russell Street, Toowoomba City. As well as displaying art they are also involved in sourcing, placement and installation for the collector. It's a small and quiet gallery with a formal feel. The gallery promotes local and regional artists in Toowoomba and the surrounding regions, with a diverse range of artists. You can see Feather and Lawry regarding exhibition opportunities and art consultancy. The price ranges for exhibited art are $300 to $10,000. Phone 07 4638 8209.
