Located near 127 Days in Croydon Park, LyHa's Kitchen specialises in offering Vietnamese cuisine. This restaurant is notable for offering Vietnamese dishes that we have not seen at other similar restaurants.
Offered as a special during our visit, Vietnamese Rice Cakes, also known as Banh Beo, is a steamed rice cake dish that reminds us of the Singaporean dish known as Chwee Kueh. Two types of toppings were provided with each serving, a dry version consisting of pork crackling and toasted dried shrimps, and a wet version featuring stir-fried minced pork. The rice cakes had a nice firmness to them, with the toppings doing a good job of bringing out its flavour. They are at their best eaten together with the Noc Chum sauce that comes with the dish.

The pork chop in the Chargrill Pork Chop Broken Rice had a smoky grilled flavour with juicy flesh. The pickled vegetables partnered nicely with the pork and you can dip the pork in the Noc Chum sauce provided to add more flavour. For a complete meal, you can request for a bowl of soup to go with the dish.

The soup of the Crab and Pork Tapioca Noodle Soup dish had a generous amount of crab meat and pork to provide a meaty texture. The tapioca noodles retained a bit of bite to them and the dish had the notable addition of quail eggs. Served with the dish were a wedge of lime and chilli sauce. Take some care with the chilli however as it has a potent spicy punch.

Their Chargrill Pork Rice Vermicelli Noodle is a Bun Bowl version of the Chargrill Pork Chop Broken Rice, but with the pork cut into thinner slices. The vermicelli noodles and Asian herbs provided an element of freshness, with the spring rolls and crushed peanuts providing the crunchy elements. To enjoy the dish, pour the Noc Chum sauce over the ingredients and mix everything thoroughly to spread its flavour throughout the dish.
