The Lygon Street Multicultural Festival at the Piazza Italia Corner of Lygon St and Argyle Place in Carlton on Sat 2 February 2019 from 12noon to 10pm is a FREE fabulous family affair presented by the Anatolian Cultural Centre.
It's a family fun day that not only has a variety of live performances and musicians on stage, along with delicious food and entertainment. It also promotes harmony between cultures and celebrates multiculturalism, plus there are attractive prizes to be won, so be sure to grab some raffle tickets. You never know your luck.
The Manasis School of Greek Dance and Culture will be performing at the festival, so come along and see them in action! They have set unmatched, unrivalled standards in execution, choreography and discipline. One of their fundamental beliefs is that dance too, evolves, just like art, yet it still remains firmly embedded in a traditional past that understands where it came from, in order to know where it wants to go.
Amongst the food trucks and offerings of food, you'd be happy to know Stix will be at the festival with their innovative frozen cheesecakes on a stick, so you can enjoy it on the go. Of course, it's not the only thing they do. They also have waffles on a stick, shakes, coffee, corn on the cob and more. Bring friends, bring family and celebrate big. Stay tuned via the event page for updates.
