Just had lunch at Lygon Street Cafe which is a small and casual eatery on... well, I'll let you guess where it is.

First things first. Their coffee isn't bad. My skinny cappuccino was hot, smooth and creamy. They use Grinders Coffee , and there's actually a Grinders store right next door.

Besides coffee, Lygon Street Cafe seem to have a bit of everything on the menu – from salad to soup, pasta to risotto, and other favourites like nachos, focaccias, wraps, pizzas and cakes. There's likely something for everyone here and the prices seem fair. Service is fast, and most meals are made on the premises.

I opted for a Thai vegetable pie. It was cheap, heated to perfection and I really liked the pastry. The inside of the pie was nice enough, but it all basically tasted the same – I could not taste individual vegetables or even different textures. But it was a nice flavour (singular) and I'd totally head back for more.
