Why are Lush's bath bombs best-selling?

I love popping in to Lush in the Queen Street Mall and smelling all the beautifully scented fresh products. They stock a huge range of soaps and beauty products in a variety of different sizes to suit all budgets.

Lush endeavours to use fresh organic fruit and vegetables and quality essential oils in their products. They are made by hand using little or no preservative or packaging. Lush pledges to not test on animals and partakes in ethical buying.

The skincare range is made fresh and it is cleverly displayed on ice. There are products for sensitive skin. You can find scrubs and face masks, lip scrubs and balms, and toothy tabs (fluoride free 'toothpaste'). There are massage bars and a range of products for men (think shaving creams and fragrances).

I like their bath bombs the best but prefer the plain coloured ones so there is less cleaning afterwards. Lush sold over 20 million bath bombs last year! You could also buy a luxury bath melt or bubble bath. Then there is the range designed especially for the shower gels, scrubs and jellies.

Next to the counter there are black Charity Pots which contain a floral scented hand and body lotion. The ingredients are sourced sustainably and ethically and 100 per cent of the proceeds goes to the shop's chosen charity. Fair Agenda in this case.

Lush offers three party packages to make up a unique party celebration - beauty treatments, a private shopping experience or fun and games. This would be ideal for birthdays or hen's nights.

There is a wonderful selection of brightly coloured gift boxes or you can wrap your purchase in a knot-wrap. This is based on the Japanese method of wrapping presents (called Furoshiki) and Lush stocks wraps made from recycled plastic bottles, or upcycled vintage scarves. What a great idea.

Just be careful if you pick up something sparkly that you don't go back to work with glitter all over your arms!

Lush is located at just outside of the Myer Centre in the Queen Street Mall and has other Brisbane shops located at Westfield Shopping Centre Carindale, Westfield Chermside, Indooroopilly Shopping Cente, Westfield Garden City, and Garden City Shopping Centre.

Alternatively, you can view the full range of products at Lush's online shop.
