Fiery tail of the Year of The Rooster
It has been rung in. It came. It is now here with us, the Year of The Rooster. Melbourne entertained and amazed us with lots of events and activities to celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year.

This week you still have a chance to catch the fiery tail of the Rooster.

Melbourne Museum and Royal Exhibition Building have prepared Lunar New Year Illuminations. They will run every night from 28 January to 5 February from 9 pm.

Crown Melbourne can still amaze you every hour on the hour with their Zodiac Spectacular in The Atrium at Crown Towers. This show will run until 12 February.

Come to Crown this weekend, 3-5 February to have a look at their traditional Hawkers Market. It will run from 11 am.

Melbourne Showgrounds
is inviting you to celebrate "Tết" 4-5 February from 11 am to 10 pm

The Lunar New Year, known as "Tết" in Vietnamese, is undoubtedly one of the most important celebrations of Vietnamese culture"

There will be rides, food stalls, cultural activities and performances, interactive displays and, of course, Dragon Dancing. Fireworks display will bring this even to the close on both days.

The entry is free. This event is family-friendly

Please do not forget to drop in South-Eastern suburbs this weekend. Lunar New Year in Carnegie will take place this Saturday 4 February from 4 pm onwards.

The event is free and caters to all ages and tastes

Hotel in Keysborough is inviting you to join in their celebrations this Friday 4 February from 6 pm.

There will be food stalls, prizes and competitions, Lion Dancing and Lucky Envelope.

Entry is free.
