Celebrations Come to an End
As the 15-day Lunar New Year celebrations come to an end, both in terms of dates but also in terms of the global situation, it is important to remember that support of community goes a long way. Here is a last chance to be part of the closing celebrations of the Lunar New Year at The District Docklands.
There will be festivities for the whole family including traditional lion dancing, cultural activities and workshops, performances, stilt walking and fortune cookie giveaways. Interactive workshops will be running throughout the whole weekend and anyone can get involved Why not learn how to create a lantern, have a crack at some calligraphy writing, colour in hand fans and much more. Visit the website to find out all the details.
Make sure you are around at 12pm to receive a free fortune cookie during the first lion dance. Each fortune cookie contains a special offer that can be redeemed in the precinct. With so many fabulous food and dining venues on offer, including a variety of Asian cuisine, it will be difficult to choose what to have for your lunch or dinner.
