Westfield Chatswood is 'bringing it' for the Lunar New Year to welcome in The Year of the Dragon. For almost the full month of February 2024, from 1-25 Feb, Westfield Chatswood will be hosting a series of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Live entertainment over the Lunar New Year weekend is as follows.

Sat 10 Feb 11am - Chinese Traditional Ribbon Dance

Sat 10 Feb 2pm - Lion Dance Performance

Sun 11 Feb 1am to 2pm - Ribbon Dancing Duo will roam around Centre Court and Level 4, and facepainting on Level 3, Centre Court, in front of Nandos. For more details about the live performances, see here .

Other special little nuggets to look forward to - Westfield members who dine in and spend $150 or more at a participating dining retailer will receive a $20 Westfield gift card. Find all details here .

Kids will have some fun activities to look forward to with a free and fun dragon painting workshop hosted by Plaster Fun House on Saturday 10 February. There will be five sessions on the day at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm Bookings are essential for this free event, and can be made via the Westfield Chatswood (book here) website. Customers can find the workshop on Level 3, outside Shoes & Sox. Lunar New Year Craft and Colouring Zone is where kids can enjoy a Lunar New Year themed colouring in competition from 10am to 4pm from Saturday 11 February until Sunday 25 February 10am to 4pm at the same location as the dragon painting workshop. Kids can show off their artistic talent and 3 lucky winners will receive a Lunar New Year prize. Discover more here .

There are of course lots of selfie/family photo moments with a huge beautiful lantern display hanging in Centre - a giant custom-made dragon lantern surrounded by cherry blossom trees in Centre Court for customers to snap a pic with, plus interactive displays including a zodiac wheel and wishing tree to make your wish for the new year.
