The Galeries in George St, Sydney is celebrating the Year of the Pig with prizes, lion dances, artists, pop up food and drink stores, and heaps more. This Lunar New Year visit The Galeries from January 31 to February 9 to enjoy all the festivities and the chance to win $2,000 in prizes. Guess the number of fortune cookies in the Get Lucky box for your chance to win.

If you like fortune cookies, there will be trays of them throughout The Galeries with special messages of love and blessings. Enjoy one, or a few, whilst you guess the number contained in the Get Lucky box.
From 5 to 7 February at 5pm to 8pm, why not visit the Pig Out stand and pick out a lucky noodle box? Look inside for your treat and maybe even a winning token.
The Galeries is also supporting local artists. Freda Chiu, a freelance illustrator, will create an illustrative narrative about the Year of the Pig. Watch her art progressing on Instagram and see it for yourself from 1 February.
The Galeries also hosts Find Caishen, God of Prosperity on 31 January from 1pm. Immerse yourself in culture as he weaves his way around the shopping and food areas.
The iconic, cultural Lion Dance will be presented on 5 February at 1pm. Performed by the Leung Cheung Maritial Arts Acadmeny Inc. it will be a spectacular not to be missed.
