Luna Park is an iconic sight on the shoreline of Sydney Harbor. Of a night it glows brightly and invitingly, beckoning those in need of adrenalin and fun to come forth and play. It was during the day that my family ventured forth and fun is what we had.
This is the ultimate holiday kid's paradise, and it is good for adults as well. Not only do you get all the fun, adventure and excitement that Luna Park has to offer, but you get those gorgeous views of Sydney Harbor. This in itself is worth the trip.

Views from the park
My kids, the younger ones loved the smaller rides, outside on the shoreline. Riding the Ferris wheel and looking over the harbour was a highlight for me. The Dodgem Cars, the Tango Train, and the Carousel were all rode time and time again on our visit.

For the more adventurous there is the Wild Mouse and the Rotor. I mention these two as they stuck the most fear, and gave the most fun to my eldest child. Loving the Rotor and hating, due to fear, the Wild Mouse. Not all the fun is outdoors, venture inside for the carnival feel of the Wonky Walk and the giant slides. For those wanting to win prizes there are plenty of opportunities with all the sideshow favourites. Burst a balloon with a dart, shoot some hoops or feed a clown, all there so you can 'step right up', and try to win big.
There are ample places to eat, if you so desire, or the city itself is a short ferry ride away.
Come for the rides and fun, enjoy the views, it is a great way to spend a day for kids and adults.
