Sydney's Luna Park is ever so popular once again. This is great to see. There was a time in the 80's where Luna Park at Milson's Point kept opening and closing. In the 90's the popular Big Dipper roller coaster ride was axed due to local residents complaining of the noise. Now the tide has turned in a positive way for Luna Park.
Luna Park have put together a Fun Fest (otherwise known as #FunFest) for the April School Holidays. This event started on the 21st of March, and runs right through to the 28th of April. Luna Park advises that this special pass is available for all 29 days the park is open between this period.
Otherwise, entry to Luna Park is still free, and you pay for the rides you want to go on - as many or as little as you'd like. With their April #FunFest pass as part of Luna Park Fun Fest, unlimited entry is available between the above mentioned dates for only $55 per person. Luna Park advises that each ticket is not transferable. Correct, the kids of Sydney (and even the adults who want to be kids again) can go on as many rides as they wish. That's right, this includes every weekend including the Easter and ANZAC Day long weekends, as well as every weekday during the April 2014 school holidays.
Freebies and giveaways will be conducted during the Luna Park Fun Fest as well. In addition to show bags being available at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Luna Park will also feature their own pop-up show bag stand as part of this event. Every Fun Fest attendee will also get an opportunity to explore some limited, school holiday rides such as the Skywalker.
Please note that Luna Park will not be open on the following dates, as at the time of writing this. Again, the #FunFest pass as part of this school holiday, kid friendly event can be used outside of these dates:
3 April 2014
8 - 10 April 2014
29 - 30 April 2014
Tickets can be purchased by clicking here. Luna Park also advise that the #FunFest pass can be upgraded to a VIP Pass for $44 extra if upgraded on or before the 28 April 2014.
