Luna Park Melbourne is celebrating the 'Year of the Red Fire Monkey' with a two-day Chinese New Year extravaganza! There will be fun entertainment, great music, an art exhibition and delicious food for the family to enjoy!
It all kicks off on the last weekend of Chinese New Year, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st February! In true Chinese New Year style, the park will come alive with red Chinese lanterns and throughout the day, there will be much to see, do and explore.
After 'monkeying' around on the park's famous rides, you can catch the Lion Dancers, known to bring people joy, happiness, good luck and good health and an aw-inspiring Kung Fu demonstration. Melbourne's largest and longest Hong Kong style performing Dragon will also breathe fire into Luna Park!
The excitement continues with interactive activities for kids, including a craft activity area where boys and girls can make their very own Chinese lanterns and dragon masks.
And if you're feeling peckish, just head to Luna Park's very own cafe, where you can sample some Chinese inspired cuisine!
There's sure to be something for everyone, so come and immerse yourself in the vibrant festivities and enjoy one of Melbourne's most loved attractions.
Entry is FREE.
