I'm a freelance writer, living in Canbooora. I mean, Canberra. But no, really, it's fun!
I live for health, fitness and food. Kind of in that order, and sometimes ramble at editorialglove.tumblr.com/ Still want more? Tweet me @yadscauchi
Holy shiz! The first ever Lululemon store has opened in the Canberra Centre! I have not been this excited about anything in Canberra, EVER. Not only can I finally stop doing detour trips to this store whenever I travel to Sydney or Melbourne, but I can stop stalking them online during work hours too! Gosh, my boss will be stoked.
Okay. But seriously if you're into your yoga, gym or fitness then you need to get into this store and get in there now. Actually, I would also recommend you get into this store even if you're not into yoga, gym or fitness, because you know what? The best thing about comfy gym clothes is that they double as comfy 'lounging around the house' clothes too. Making everyone a winner!
Just think of your favourite singlet, short, tee, sports bra, running pant or legging you've ever owned, then triple that greatness - and that's Lululemon!
Whether you like the bright colours of the 2012 spring season, (think orange, lemon, hot pink, teal etc) or whether you prefer something a little more neutral (greys, blacks, whites) or multicoloured or patterned, they've covered it all.
They even have yoga accessories like mats, drink bottles, and even undies. Meaning you'll never have to sweat in your sexy undies for a workout again. Now isn't that a plus.
And while you're there why don't you grab your man a singlet or a pair of shorts as a surprise? They also have a men's collection, and although it's not very big, I promise you'll be able to find something he'll like.
Big, small, short, tall, busty and non busty (that's me) the staff are not only super friendly, but they recognise when you don't need help too. Nobody likes a pushy salesperson but the vibe in the store is also something you need to experience for yourself - eg. they call you by your first name and write your name on the change room door – in a fun way (not a creepy way).
So get in there!
Fit people are happy people.
If you'd like to find out a little more about the company's history I recommend you check out their website (Ps. you can shop there too.)
