Located along The Parade in Norwood, Lukoumades specialises in serving the pastry it takes its name from, a Greek pastry that in ancient times is noted to be given as gifts to the winners of the Greek Olympics. The donuts are made fresh by piping a batter through a special press into oil to be deep-fried. Customers have the pleasure of seeing their donuts being prepared.
The size of the Lukoumades was generous and had a light and fluffy texture. The honey coating of the Traditional Lukoumades that we chose was not too sweet and there was a sprinkling of cinnamon for a bit of extra flavour. Disposable fork-like toothpicks are provided for customers to eat the Lukoumades so their fingers will not be sticky from the honey.

Aside from Lukoumades, the caf้ offers a few other pastries such as waffles and cheese-on-a-stick, along with milkshakes that can be enjoyed with their pastries. Its location makes it convenient for visitors to The Parade that have a desire to see what Lokoumades are like and have a taste.
