Handcrafted chocolate to die for
The mix and match Chocolate counter
On the 8th of February 2014 Luka Chocolates opened their doors for the first time in Newcastle. They are located at Shop 3a 5 Honeysuckle Drive, Newcastle, just behind Subway.
[ADVERT]They have a superb selection of freshly hand-crafted chocolates that they make in their new factory in Wyong on the central coast. They started producing their chocolates on the central coast in December 2012 and have just opened their new factory and Chocolate Boutique in Wyong that has a large window that lets you see the factory in action.
When you enter the Newcastle Chocolate Boutique the smell of their chocolate is amazing and they have a large range of chocolates on display that you can mix and match. They also have pre packaged some old favorites like large freckles, Coconut crunch and many others.
Also on display is a range of pre-packed, gift-boxed chocolates. They range from 4 to 36 piece boxes which would be ideal for that special occasion or someone.
Their next product that will be added at their Newcastle Boutique will be ice creams that will be available very soon.
Although they have limited seating at the time of writing this review, there will be increased seating when they complete fitting out the shop. There will soon be a barista serving you fresh coffee so you can relax with a coffee and the most amazing tasting hand-crafted chocolates.
I could not think of a better way to finish you visit to the wonderful honeysuckle precinct on Newcastle Harbour than stopping here for that special chocolate or ice cream and a lovely coffee. I know I would also be taking a little something home for later as well.
